01 — About

SYNTRA is a design studio, not a single collection. What stays the same from one piece to the next — SYN.001 today, whatever we build after it — is the method: nothing hides how it’s built. Most furniture conceals its structure — cladding, lacquer, joints buried under a finished surface. Ours doesn’t. Every panel is dry-fit and held by exposed M5 bolts, not welded or glued.

This isn’t a style choice — it’s a constraint we apply to every project, whether it’s part of the collection or a commission. The materials depend on what a piece needs to hold; what doesn’t change is why they’re chosen — never for their price. If a joint doesn’t need to be there, it isn’t. If a bolt could be hidden, it stays visible instead.

Look underneath. That’s the point.

We didn’t remove the ornament. We never added it.

Every piece is built the same way: structure decides the form, not the other way around. Materials are chosen for what they need to hold — not because they photograph well.

You can ask what’s underneath any joint. We’ll show you — because we know exactly what’s there, and it’s not a surprise: bolts, dry-fit panels, nothing else.

02 — Making Of

Every Syntra piece is cut, finished, and assembled by hand in Veneto. These are the moments that don't make it into the final photograph — the process that gives each object its precision.

Born in 1997, raised in the industrial heart of Veneto. Edoardo works at the intersection of visual communication and engineering — a path that began at IAAD Bologna and continued managing complex technical projects for luxury interiors.

Syntra was born from that: the need to apply the same engineering rigor to a language of his own, without compromise. Not furniture — a method. Every piece asks the same question in a different form: what remains, once you remove everything superfluous.
